Setting Quarantine Goals

At the beginning of 2020 I made a blog post about setting goals for the year. Looking back, I never thought I would be writing this blog post just two months later.

So, we are currently in quarantine due to the COVID19 pandemic outbreak. Of course we do not know how long this is going to last, but I think a lot of our goals from the beginning of the year might be on hold. Like personally any travel goals… post-poned until further notice.

However, do not let this discourage you! I think quarantine is a time we will all look back on and you will either be proud of the things you accomplished, or sad that you spent the time worrying about things out of your control.

I am going to set Quarantine Goals. These are things that I can accomplish from the comforts of my home during this time in history.

I encourage you to create 5-10 “Quarantine Goals.” Think of all the things we always wished we had more time for:

  • Starting that new hobby

  • Learning to bake new recipes

  • Read that book

  • Start your YouTube channel

  • Start a blog

  • Clean out your closet

  • Write that book

  • Organize your pantry

The list can go on!

From my goals list in January, I have achieved a few! Including publishing my ebook - Becoming an Influencer.

To inspire you to create your own Quarantine Goals, I will share mine with you:

  • Post a YouTube video every week (minimum 1)

  • Post a blog post every week!

  • Make inspiring content to help people through quarantine

  • Journal

  • Gratitude journal every day

  • At home work-out every other day

  • Finish the school semester strong

  • Increase my blog traffic

  • Hit 20K TikTok followers

  • Get more brand deals

Setting attainable goals will keep you motivated and give you something to look forward to during these unprecedented times.
