How to practice gratitude

Expressing gratitude is as easy as saying thank you to someone, acknowledging your blessings aloud, or journaling.

My favorite way to practice gratitude is to start (or end) my day with my gratitude journal. I like to write at least 3-10 things, people, or places I am grateful for. Of course, a regular journal will suffice.

If you do not have time, or don’t make time, to write down what you are grateful for every day, at least list 5-10 things aloud. This way you are acknowledging what great things are in your life.

I talk about gratitude in my Law of Attraction blog posts because when you appreciate what things you have in life, you are raising your vibration. What we learned is that “like attracts like” in the universe. So, if you are being positive and grateful, you will attract more positive things into your life!

Gratitude also makes you feel better mentally. Especially during hard times, focusing on the good pushes out negative emotions.

Practicing gratitude only takes a few minutes, but you will see long term results!
