Hello Jewells! In today’s blog post I wanted to compile resources on how you can educate yourself and get involved with Black Lives Matter. This isn’t a moment, this is a movement!

It is not the responsibility of our Black friends, neighbors, co-workers, teachers, etc., to educate us on the history of systemic racism in this country. It is also not their responsibility to find a solution to a problem that they didn’t create! Please educate yourself, sign petitions, vote, donate, stream, etc.

This is just the beginning of a well overdue revolution for equality. More than ever, the Black community needs allies. So, I hope you utilize the resources in this blog post to be involved!

However, it wasn’t uncomfortable at all!

I hope we encourage you to listen, empathize, support Black creators, and amplify Black voices. Have conversations with your friends and family, and call out racism. Try to educate others around you!
